Learn the fascinating history of the Maneki Neko — from its origins in Edo-period Japan to the legends behind the raised paw

Discover the meaning of colors - white for general good luck, gold for wealth, black for protection, pink for love, and more!

Each cat is 16 cm high and made with a light weight paper mâché.

Important Class Information

  • This class is for adults 20 years and older as we serve alcohol.
  • We provide aprons for all participants to help protect your clothing. However, we recommend dressing in clothing that you don’t mind getting paint on. Acrylic paint is difficult to remove once it dries.
  • At the end of the class, you will be able to take your finished artwork home with you!

Cancellation Policy

  • Full Refund: Cancel up to 3 days before the event start time.
  • 25% Cancellation Fee: If you cancel between 3 days and 24 hours before the event.
  • No Refund: For cancellations within 24 hours of the event start time.
