




The Art of Nihonga – Lily
Nihonga is a traditional Japanese painting process using traditional materials such as Japanese mineral pigments (iwa-enogu) made mainly from crushed ore particles and Japanese paper.
In this class, you will learn to use these tools, create pigments and experience traditional Japanese painting in a simplified way.
The instructor will guide you through the process one step at a time, so there is no need for specialized skills.
Our staff will prepare a rough sketch in advance so that you can experience coloring on the day of the workshop.
In this class we will use a canvas size: S0 size
Materials: iwa-enogu, gofun, mizuhoshi egor, sumi ink, Japanese paper
