In this fun hands on class, we will learn how to create a wire frame and base using malleable wire, twine and wood. Then the instructors will teach techniques on how to build a plaster base by brushing, dripping and adding plaster by hand. Once your base is made, you will carve details to finish the work.
** Please note that this class time extends to 3 hours total. We will have an extra hour to allow for people who would like additional time to complete their works.
Unlike a standard class that uses clay, since we use plaster, you can take your creation home the same day!
The base is 15x15 cm and the height will vary depending on your wire frame
You can choose yo make a person or animal. Please bring a photo of the person/animal that you would like to make.
